I am glad that you persevered and got something posted, but the crux of the project was the interaction of sound and visuals. I appreciate that you met this extended deadline but if you took the time to completely redo the project in another program, why did you use the original visuals? As previously posted:
“(the colors right now are really random--watch the palettes that Warner Brothers use/take an actual cartoon and pick-select colors).”
“Don’t use the full characters... too predictable. Use colors and contours to indicate the essence of cartoon.”
“I agree that the colors seem picked randomly. I also feel that you kind of took the easy way out in choosing characters that already exist; come up with some awesome movement if you going to keep them. keep working, variety will make this a lot better.”
“MISSING: Color Graph.”
Katie, I’ll give you one more mulligan on this: I want to see a DESIGNED product. Quality over Quantity. And I can’t be more clear on this: Step One: Create a Color Graph that is REFLECTIVE of a Warner Brother’s Cartoon (do NOT use every color in the rainbow). Identify contours or a drawing style (e.g., zoom-in on a drawing of Tweety, and VECTOR a small portion). Put this and at least one background (not black) in time to music.
Deadline: Tuesday, December 16th at 10:30 am Columbus Time
